Located in the Laurentian Mountains, Mont-Tremblant was chosen for the excellent quality of its environment and its perfect conditions. The town and its surrounding communities present an easily walkable and navigable setting that is ideal for all the activities that will be presented at the event 2013 Tremblant Triathlon. Over 2,500 athletes from around the world are expected to participate in the 2013 Mont Tremblant Ironman Triathlon.
This three-part Tremblant Triathlon begins early morning with the swimming portion of the competition at the Beach and Tennis Club located on Tremblant Lake. The 3.8 km (2.4 mile) swim will take them through the warm waters of Lac Tremblant which averages 22 °C (71 °F) during the summertime.
The second portion is a very challenging 180 km (112 mile) bike ride through the forests and mountains of Mont-Tremblant. This two-loop course takes the participants through difficult elevation levels as they pedal through The Montee Ryan and Chemin des Voyageurs then passing the Tremblant Resort.
