Fly Fishing in Mont Tremblant

Fly fishing in Tremblant is one of the most popular activities during summer especially at Diable river, where the annual fly fishing championship is held, but also at Cache river and Le Boule river.

Diable River is the most popular for fly fishing in Tremblant by many experienced fisherman and beginners due to its wealth on trout, bass, pike and many other species. The river’s close proximity to many chalets in Tremblant attracts with over 9 miles (14 km) easily waded waters and over 3.5 miles (6 km) of fly fishing only waters. Known as the only trout river in Quebec where only fly fishing is permitted, fishing enthusiasts reserve every year chalets in Tremblant during it’s annual fly fishing championship.
Fisherman interested in practicing this popular sport may purchase a license and any equipment needed at the local Passion Peche in the Old Village.
